Designing custom wedding invitations is a truly personal process. Contact us for availability and share more about your plans. From there, we’ll prepare a scope of work with a pricing range.

02// BOOK YOUR CUSTOM DESIGN SPOT

Once you’re happy with the proposal and we’ve received the retainer, you’ll be added to our design schedule.

03// CONSULTATION & CURATION

We begin with a design consultation call to explore your vision and understand your guest experience. From here, the creativity begins with two storyboards that reflect your event aesthetic. Your selection will serve as a blueprint for the design.

04// DESIGN & REFINE

Once the vision is formed, we’ll refine the details with a sketch outline of all pieces. Once approved, your designs will be created and tailored to your preferences.

BESPOKE COMMISSIONS
As a small studio with limited availability and a strong emphasis on client service, we dedicate time for a handful of custom invitation orders per season.

  • Design & Artistry Fee: Includes your private consultation, storyboards, sketch outlines, project management and design. Begins at $2,800 USD.

  • Production & Materials: A separate pricing schedule is prepared based on your choice of heirloom papers and high quality embellishments. Clients typically invest $4,000–$6,000 with speciality print finishes and embellishments.

  • Full Event Branding (wedding invitations to day-of pieces) begins at $10,500.

TIMEFRAME
Our bespoke design process is typically 4 months.

AVAILABILITY
We are currently accepting commissions for wedding dates between October 2026 to August 2027.

FAQ’s for Custom Wedding Invitations

  • Please allow at least 14 weeks for full turnaround time plus shipping to you. An estimated timeframe will be provided with your proposal.

    All timeframes are dependent on client responses, so the process can be a bit faster or slower depending on your availability. We request 4 day turnaround time for custom orders to keep projects on track.

  • Custom wedding invitation design includes expert printing and design guidance. You’ll work one-on-one with us to design and create your beautiful wedding stationery.

    • All custom orders include 3 revisions rounds to perfect your design. Additional revisions rounds can be added on.

    • Complimentary standard courier shipping (up to $300 NZD). When orders exceeds the complimentary inclusion, flat rate shipping is offered based on items ordered beginning at $65 NZD.

    • Full assembly of all pieces

    • 2 storyboards to review, simple sketched draft of your overall design concept, graphic design of each piece

  • Payments are split across the project:

    • 25% for the retainer

    • 50% to begin design

    • Balance of order due in order to begin production

  • Design fees include our time to create two storyboards and sketches, plus the design of your suite.

    Starting design fees are based on invitation, envelopes with liner, a details card, and a response card. Final design fees are based on the scope of the project, items required, prototyping, and timeframe needed to complete the design.

    Production and materials are priced separately and based on actual items ordered. A pricing range is provided based on our standard materials with your proposal. Final client selection will determine actual pricing. All design concepts shared with you will outline the fees.

    Typically clients invest $6000+ USD for custom wedding stationery.

  • No, that is not possible as designs are created just for you.

    Custom design is an iterative process that involves refining the details until you have approved each piece. It is a trusted collaboration between us and requires your input. We create the design concepts and bring the vision to life.

    We highly recommend ordering from our semi-custom collection if you would like to see the design before you order.
